Why Wingmate Games & Publishing Exists
We believe that board games and well-written books can restore peace between people more effectively than any app or online course.
Wingmate was born from the conviction that time spent with loved ones or colleagues should be neither superficial nor forced. We wanted to create tools that turn an ordinary evening into a moment of mutual discovery – without screens, without the pressure of performance, just people talking, laughing, and building together.
Our core principle is collaboration over competition. Every game, every card set, and every guide we publish is designed to encourage active listening, amicable negotiation, and empathy. We don't sell simple products; we offer contexts in which relationships naturally strengthen, without needing a psychology specialist or an external facilitator.
The effect we aim for is simple: that after a game session or reading a book, participants feel they have grown closer to each other. That they have discovered something new about their teammate, their child, or their office colleague. We don't promise radical overnight transformations, but small moments of connection that, repeated, become healthy habits.
For children, introducing collaborative games on weekends brings three concrete benefits: it teaches them to negotiate without frustration, develops their ability to listen to others' opinions, and gives them a real reason to put down their phone. No rewards or threats are needed – a well-designed game does all the work by itself.
